What is included when you buy a picture frame from Hoopers?
We try to offer everything to help you get your frame on the wall without too much hassle
Our bespoke wooden frames:
Your new picture frame will come with acrylic safety glass and a backing board. Of course if you opted for no glazing during the buying process then we will leave it out. The glass, mount and backing board will all be held in place with bendable framming points. If you wish to seal the back of your frame completely we offer a selection of tapes to finish the frame, some customers like to do this - other do not bother. Your frame will also come with 2 x D-rings and enough polycord to string your frame in either portrait or landscape orientation. The main thing we do not offer or include is wall fixings - due to many types of walls and locations. It is best to ask a 'handyman' or competent DIY-er to hang pictures for you if you are unsure.
If you are collecting your frames from our store in Derry or using our bespoke picture framing service then we will use clear 2mm float glass as default (please note instore we offer, clear, non-reflective, safety and ArtGlass )
Swept Ornate Frames:
Our swept frames come in a range of colour finshes and sizes. We include a 2mm quality backing board but NO safety glass- if you require it please contact us and we will include it at no extra charge. All swept frames come with screws and D-Rings with polycord for hanging either orientation.
Canvas Tray Frames:
Our quality wood tray frames are suitable for laying canvases into - they give the painted canvas more of a 'finished look' but at the same time the framing style is sleek and minimal. We include a velcro strip pack for attaching your canvas to the tray - simple and safe. Also included is a pair of D-Rings, screws and sufficient polycord to hanging in both orientations.
Picture Mount Packs:

Our mounts are whitecore acid free 1.4mm mountboards sold in a range of outer and inner sizes. All inner sizes are reduced by 3mm on all side to allow overlap of the mount window to fix / hinge your print to the back of the mount. These mounts are more suitable for retailers/ artists etc and fit nicely into a readymade frame.

- Mount kits are mounts with matching backing boards and 40mn clear resealable bags
- Kenro Strut Mounts - are black slip mounts suitable for schools photographs etc. They are black on the front with a stylish silver foil stripe and attached cardboard back with pop-out strut stand
